Greenhouse collections

There are almost 2,300 taxa of tropical and subtropical plants from all over the world in our greenhouses. Their collection and scientific processing has taken place for over 45 years. The majority of plants were obtained by exchanging seeds with other botanical gardens; many older plants were also presented to us. All of the greenhouses are accessible from the Palm House in the centre of the greenhouse complex.
